Headlining at the Alhambra Theatre
Bobby Gaylor was an Irish comedian and vaudeville actor who headlined acts at the Alhambra Theatre during its brief existence from March 17th to June 7th of 1884. After the Alhambra's owner, Sven Miller, skipped town, Bobby Gaylor and his wife signed with Bijou Theatre manager, James W. Smith, and performed there until September 12th of that year, when they returned to San Francisco. Gaylor returned to Seattle multiple times in the next decade to headline at the Star and Third Avenue Theatre with his comedy routines.
