Gilbert M. Anderson (Broncho Billy, Bronco Billy, Max Aronson)

Gilbert M. (Broncho Billy) Anderson made his debut in 1903 with a movie titled "The Great Train Robbery" and became the first start in Westerns. He directed, wrote, and acted in 375 films in seven years. He is best known for his role as Broncho Billy in many of those films. He visited Seattle during a production of "The Candy Shop" to scout for locations for Essanay Company film projects.
