Description

"By Right of Sword," was based on the novel by Arthur W. Marchmont. Marchmont visited Seattle to view the performance and met with Ralph Stuart to discuss producing a play from his work, "Courier of Fortune." Actor Florence Racey became ill during the production, and Stuart used local Seattle actor Ruby Friend, graduate of the Egan Dramatic School, to replace her.
